Welcome to CSCI N342 Server-side Web Programming. This course describes how to write code on web servers using open source technology. You will learn how to configure and work on web servers in unix, linux, and Windows. You will create programs that can generate web forms and respond to them. You will write programs that can access data files on the server. You will create properly designed relational databases, and write code to manipulate and access these databases. These skills are highly prized in today's Internet environment.
